戰火中失去膝下二子的婦人渾然不知自己罹患肺癌，邂逅了跟亡子年紀相仿的男子，兩人間迸發出甜美又危險的情愫。一如片中角色始終籠罩在死亡陰影下，女主角在現實中亦剛經歷喪夫之痛，藉由劇中劇與長獨白，她也得以對著鏡頭一吐不捨亡夫的悲痛之情，讓現實與虛構遙相對話，在愛情、死亡與孤寂的拉扯間細細咀嚼生命的重量。
Marta is a cultured middle-aged married woman who doesn’t know that she is terminally ill. She still mourns the death of her two sons. One day Marta meets a young man, a simple worker, Bogusand. Their dates at the shores of the river overgrown with sweet rush are marked by a mutual fascination. They’re not aware that Fate is about to play a cruel trick on them.

Shot in one, continuous take, PVC-1 is inspired by the true story of an innocent woman’s struggle for survival after she is fitted with a collar-bomb. In Colombia, a woman and her family became the victim of an unusual act of terrorism. Unable to pay a ransom, the mother is turned into a human time bomb and is now trapped in a physical and mental circumstance from which she and her family try to break free.

The rock n' roll band "Totem" was formed seven years ago. Right before it was to release its second album, lead singer Suming and drummer A-shing were determined to leave the group. Band members held a meeting to work out a solution. Before they knew it, however, they were recalling the time they took part in the Music Competition in 2003. They realized that the roots to the reason why they were coming apart now could be traced back to that time...
